Started this running thing at 40 to check off a bucket list item and qualify for Boston. After doing so and running Boston, I was hooked and slowly went from running 3 days a week to 6-7. Predictably, my race times came down at all distances (though I do best at 10 mile through 50k) as my running mileage increased.
