What is your favorite product at Fleet Feet, and why?
Shoes, shoes, shoes! I love buying my shoes at Fleet Feet because I trust the staff to put me in what's best for me and I have tried all kinds of different shoes and brands thanks to them
What is the hardest race you have ever run, and why OR what has been your toughest challenge in running, and why?
I think Rocket City Marathon in 2014 was my hardest race. I was injured, had a goal that I knew I could meet but fell apart due to my injury and was very disappointed.
The past few years have been very challenging for my running. I became a single parent and my time to run became quite limited
What has been your most interesting race experience (give details)?
Boston Marathon 2016. Just a surreal experience and at a time in my life that I so needed this amazing, positive experience. I savored every moment of being a part of this race and was so grateful to be able to enjoy it with good running friends. I met the most amazing people, saw some of our country's greatest runners, and heard so many inspiring stories.
What is your favorite quote, and why
"Out of these ashes, beauty will rise." -Steven Curtis Chapman
As a personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and coach, I work with individuals--both old and young--seeking guidance of raising their fitness level, meeting fitness goals, and learning how to make fitness a part of their lives. I work with individuals as they learn to run, use running to meet overall fitness goals, and overcome obstacles that have kept them from running previously. I share my passion of running with others in large classes, with my Reboot boot camp, with individual clients, to my homeschool PE kids, and as a coach of the Goldsmith Schiffman Elementary School Running Club as well as area volleyball leagues. I am able to be a good example to all those with whom I work through my own running regimen. I proudly wear the Fleet Feet Racing Team uniform to every race I run and do my best to encourage and run alongside new runners as well as to develop my own running in the process." - Rebecca
