What is the hardest race you have ever run?
I would say the Cotton Row 10k is the race that I have never conquered, so it must be the hardest. I have gone into that race many times in great condition and it always seems to win.
What has been your most interesting race experience?
River city in 2009. I showed up about 3 minutes before the start of
the race. It got my adrenaline pumping for sure. It stood as my 10k PR
for many years though.
What is your proudest running moment?
The Army 10 miler in 2014. I broke an hour for the first time and crushed my expected time by 2 minutes.
What is your favorite quote, and why?
"Men of action are favored by the goddess of good luck." -George Samuel Clason
I have been an athlete my whole life. I love competing and pushing myself to my limits. I was a swimmer growing up and through college. I started running and doing triathlon when I graduated. I love the social aspect of training and competing.
