Short Term Goals
This year my focus will be on returning to race pace post-partum. I ran the entire pregnancy but much slower. I hope to get back to my normal pace and mileage and then pick up more speed from there! My race plans and goal races will be set once I get my base going and see what I'm working with.
Long Term Goals
Long term I hope to continue to increase my speed and training abilities. I want to continue to work on building a strong body doing more strength training to reduce the chance of injury and increase my ability to train consistently. Ultimately, I would like to get faster in every distance and stay injury free. I hope to be able to compete in longer distances including a 100K and a 100 miler. Lastly, my continuous goal is to encourage and support others in the love of running!

To be determined!
I’ve been living in Huntsville since I was 10 years old. Throughout my life I have always enjoyed running for physical health. However, in 2008 after completing my first race, running became a lifestyle and truly changed me. After that I started planning and training for races and now I try to race some distance at least once per month. My husband and I have a 4 year old son who loves being at the races and even has worked at some. We also just welcomed our second son on January 17, 2016 and are looking forward to getting him involved in our running family. Professionally, I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and work primarily with children/adolescents in private practice.
